Stephen. I am so sorry to learn of the death of your father Jack. Although he had a long and fulfilling life I well know that the loss of a parent is always hard to bear and you, your mother Joan and your sisters Catherine , Pauline and Susie have my deepest sympathy. I have fond memories of playing golf with your father when he first got the bug. Also the many Boxing Day visits you all made to Bromley years ago. On one occassion he also played the face blackening trick on me. I was mortified. I should mention that «Uncle Jack» was my godfather and I have a small photo of him holding me as a baby at my christening which my mother gave me and I will try to send a copy to you.
