It is with such deep sadness I leave this message. I first met dearest Jack and Joan at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Highcliffe in the last couple of years of his life. He had a wonderful gift of making everyone feel special, always smiling, always spontaneous and always with a twinkle in his eye. His devotion to Joan was so abundant and truly evident for all to see. A man with such charm, charisma and warmth and with a delightful gift for writing poetry. I was fortunate enough to visit him in hospital whilst recovering after his hip operation and took my husband to meet this very special individual. He had us in stitches with his humour and love of life. He has left a large void and I shall miss seeing his happy face in Church on Sundays. Our thoughts and prayers are with dearest Joan and all his loving family. Anna and Bruce Dew
