Mary has told us your sad news and we give you, your Mum, Stephen, Pauline, Sue and all the family our love and sympathy. I was aware of your Dad's fall around Christmas which I understand triggered his deterioration in health but I am sure he will have received all the family care and love he deserved and I hope you can take consolation in that knowledge. Unfortunately, Sally and I had not seen him for years but we are so pleased that Mama was able to do so not that long ago. The bond between our parents and families has always been special. We only have to mention Wimbledon to Mama for her to recall the privilege of going with your Dad and to the end of Championship Ball. Just one memory of thousands shared together.
